A fun week at the Bungalow:
- Landscaping plan was drawn up, and the back yard was cleared of debris so the paver patio and sod can be laid next week. Thank goodness Spring is finally here. The railing down the garage steps was installed, and the rails that were ruined in the front during cement pour were repaired.
- Cabinets were delivered. There was a little drama when the corner unit wouldn't fit through the front door, but that was sorted, and installation is underway.
- The breadboard ceiling for the kitchen was installed, and painted (a precursor to cabinet installation.)
- Tony the closet man came to consult on closet organizers.
- My hot water heater was installed. Don't she and the new HVAC system make a cute couple in the laundry/utility room? The sump pumps are ready for duty as needed.
- Paint arrived and a first coat was applied - more on this later! The painters "approved" of my color selections.
- Two week countdown!

When the weather was so cold, they had to cut out some of the iron fence to get cement into the basement. |
